Jackie (M.Sc., M. A., CCC-Q. N.D.) is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (Qualifying) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Biology and a Master of Science degree in Biopsychology from Memorial University, as well as a Masters of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Jackie has experience in community-based mental health counselling, crisis intervention counselling, single session counselling, and community outreach. As well, Jackie has experience in facilitation of groups such as grief and bereavement, effective communication, self-empowerment for women, and rebuilding after separation and divorce.

Jackie brings a client-focused, strength-based approach to her clinical work – meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them on their journey towards growth and healing. She is very passionate about personal growth, healing, and well-being. She desires to help her clients become aware of their inner strength and wisdom, and to help them use such strengths to address life’s challenges and live their best life.
